MS in Arabic Language Studies Senior Academic Researcher and Instructor

Mahmoud is a native of Syria with over eight years of experience in teaching Arabic as a second language and composing curricula for Arabic language studies. Mahmoud moved to Abu Dhabi in 2008 where he joined The Mother Tongue Arabic Language Center. He completed a Master Degree in Arabic Language Studies from Aleppo University with a Good rating in 2008.

After completing his Bachelor Degree, Mahmoud worked as a trainer and researcher at the Tawassul Institute in Damascus for three years. During this time, he refined his teaching skills and learned techniques in training new teachers. He then completed his Master Degree in Arabic Language Studies and moved to Abu Dhabi to join the Mother Tongue Arabic Language Center as a trainer and researcher. He has a considerable amount of experience in training new teachers on the basic styles of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers as a foreign and second language.

He participated in and supervised the authoring of the Al-Lissan series course manuals and workbook as well as the teacher’s guide. He also participated in many training courses in correspondence and report writing in numerous government and private institutions in the UAE.

 

Mahmoud has devoted his life to the Arabic Language and believes that everyone should commit to what they love and believe in. His entire academic career emphasized on the the Arabic Language and he is a firm believer in effective communication and focusing on building on strengths rather than weaknesses.

Mahmoud has taught all levels of Arabic as a second and foreign language to a wide variety of different nationalities of non-native speakers in both the private and public sectors in the UAE. Students from his VIP and one-on-one courses include embassy staff, academics and personnel from major local and foreign universities and senior managers in top government bodies.
